How the test works
The test measures four things: ping (round-trip latency to the server), jitter (its variation), download speed (fetching test files) and upload speed (sending data). Everything updates live during the measurement.
⚡
Ping
Round-trip latency in milliseconds. Lower is better.
≋
Jitter
Ping variation. Low jitter = a stable connection.

Frequently asked questions
How much data does the test use?
The test downloads about 40 MB and uploads about 10 MB. Less on slow connections. It is free and requires no signup.
What speed should I have?
HD streaming: 5 Mbps. 4K: 25 Mbps. Remote work: 20+ Mbps down and 5+ up. Fiber often delivers 300 Mbps+.
Is the test accurate?
It measures against real files on our server with detailed metrics (min/avg ping, jitter, throughput). Speeds vary with Wi-Fi, server and time of day.
Why does my speed change between runs?
Network load, Wi-Fi, distance to the server and connected devices all vary results. Run it 2-3 times and take the best value.
